@number78: Next week, I will add the hashes of the raw dumps to my unofficial DAT files. See the link in my post above. I already tested it but hadn't time to add all sets. It's also planned to create a file for the extras. Stay tuned.

I admire your enthusiasm! Looking forward to see the results! :-)

I must say, I'm impressed. But I think having the DAT file split into multiple parts is a bit overkill for my taste.

But... again... I am impressed.

I prefer it that way, because it is easier to see which format is incomplete. But I agree, it might not work for everyone. I will add a merged set soon.

Today, I added a DAT for the Extras. I plan to add fields for the "rating" and the "format".

Is it possible if any of you add language to the dat? The single hash solution confused me too, tested with Romulus and RomVault, maybe two official xml files can be generated with a script?

As far as I know, the Language is included in the official dat file. Or do you mean it should be named differently to get it working?
Regarding the single hash for Kryoflux dumps, I will take a look. Maybe I can find "a way" to include the full hashes in the official dat. Let's see.

That's true, it is included in the dat:
Quote:
<game name="000067_1000_miglia">
<description>1000 Miglia</description>
<disks>3 x 3.5" DD (720kB)</disks>
<language>English, Italian</language>
<year>1992</year>
<protection>Manual</protection>
<status>Modified</status>
<rom name="Disk1.img" sha1="823445ff2c2ab5000260db8d5fa75b28c17fb504" size="737280"/>
<rom name="Disk2.img" sha1="4b4596c4bfd24a06e99e1bf872407595d612709d" size="737280"/>
<rom name="Disk3.img" sha1="0388f1cac6775d0dd7b322af63dca8c0bba0f254" size="737280"/>
</game>

the language is listed there, but not for the file names ( <game name="000067_1000_miglia"> )
the download file name includes the language in the file name (1000 Miglia (Simulmondo, 1992)[en][it][3 x 720Kb][img][Modified].rar) and it doesn't show up in my Rommanager also see attachment. Thanks for the help

Edit: a naming convention like for no-intro would be awesome https://datomatic.no-intro.org/stuff/The%20Official%20No-Intro%20Convention%20(20071030).pdf, but I understand that's maybe not needed in that small scale?

For the time being, you could use my unofficial dat files. See the 3rd post in this topic. However, they are not always up to date.
